Areej Alqishawi DPT, FCAMPT
Areej, Physiotherapist
IMS / Spinal Manipulation Certified
Areej is a skilled and compassionate physiotherapist with experience since 2018. She brings a comprehensive and evidence-based approach to patient care. Having worked as a trainer with amateur athletes, she possesses a strong understanding of sports-related injuries and rehabilitation. Areej’s treatment philosophy is goal-oriented, focusing on achieving tangible results for her patients.
Originally from St. Albert, Alberta, Areej holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta (2014) and a Doctorate of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne (2017). While living in Australia, she gained hands-on experience as a Sports Trainer for amateur AFL Football teams and obtained her Level 1 Pilates certification from the Australian Pilates and Physiotherapy Institute. Areej is also certified in Functional Dry Needling and has completed her Orthopedic Division AIM program up to Level 5. She will take her final exam to complete her diploma of advanced manual and manipulative physiotherapy this fall.
Believing strongly in preventative care and the power of education, Areej provides her patients with the knowledge they need to actively participate in their recovery. Outside of her clinical work, Areej enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
Areej is proficient in both English and Arabic and is excited to give back to the St. Albert community.

Lauren started her career as a physiotherapist in 2015 after graduating from the University of Alberta with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to that, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Distinction, also at the University of Alberta.
Following graduation, Lauren has completed continuing education courses in manual therapy, acupuncture, trigger point dry needling, and concussion management. She has completed the Orthopaedic Division’s Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Program and is able to perform spinal manipulations as an FCAMPT. Lauren is also interested in furthering her education in assessing and treating temporomandibular joint dysfunctions.
Lauren believes in treating her patients through a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and education. She takes a patient-centered approach to care and encourages her patients to actively participate in their road to recovery. Lauren grew up in a small town and has always enjoyed living a healthy, active lifestyle. She played many sports before moving to the city for university, but she particularly loves playing ice hockey. Lauren also enjoys walking, reading, baking, and most importantly, spending time with her husband and daughter!

Patrick is a highly experienced Physiotherapist with over 17 years of practice across private clinics, hospitals, and military healthcare settings. Now proud to call St. Albert home, he has enjoyed building his own family-based physiotherapy clinic, where he is dedicated to providing patient centered care to the growing community.
He earned his Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2008, after completing a Bachelor of Science in biology at Cape Breton University. Throughout his career, Patrick has worked with patients of all ages, helping them recover from sport, work, motor vehicle injuries, and lifestyle injuries. His experience spans from private practice in Nova Scotia, to hospital based care in the Northwest Territories, and prior to starting his own business, treating Canadian Forces members on base.
Patrick and his team provide a one on one experience, combining advanced manual therapy and exercise prescription with techniques such as IMS/Dry needling. He is also an FCAMPT certified physiotherapist, reflecting his commitment to the highest standards of clinical excellence.
A former varsity soccer athlete and junior and senior hockey player, Patrick continues to give back to the community through volunteer coaching, and enjoys staying active with his family. He is proud to serve the St. Albert community through his clinic, built on the trusted care and strong patient relationships.

Jenna graduated with a master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta in 2012. Prior to physiotherapy, she attended the University of Manitoba to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Therapy, Kinesiology.
During her time as an athletic therapist, Jenna worked with a variety of athletes including hockey, track and field, basketball, football, volleyball and soccer.
With specialized training in assessing and treating women’s and men’s pelvic health conditions; Jenna can help treat urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pre and post prostatectomy, pregnancy and post-partum issues. She also offers birth prep sessions for pregnant patients and their partners. Pelvic physiotherapy can help manage pelvic pain from sources such as endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, pelvic girdle pain, vulvodynia, dyspareunia, vaginismus, and pudendal neuralgia. Any type of pelvic dysfunction is assessed from a whole-body perspective and not just the pelvis.
Jenna believes in helping people improve their quality of life and strives to provide a safe and nurturing environment for her patients with any type of pelvic concern.
Jenna has experience dealing with all ages (children to elderly), and all stages of injury (acute to chronic) as a result of sporting/recreational activities, post- surgical, motor vehicle accidents, repetitive injuries, poor biomechanics or chronic conditions/diseases. She believes in assisting patients return to their normal activities of daily living with functional exercise, manual therapy, pain management and education.
Outside the clinic, Jenna enjoys spending time with her son, family and friends, exercising, being outdoors, camping, reading and cooking.
